Friday night foot-stompin' fun in Callington with a new series of Cornish music & dance sessions in Callington Town Hall in the run up to Callington MayFest on Saturday 10th May, thanks to the support of CAVe.
First night is 28 March, followed by 4th & 25th April & 2nd May.
Dances will include Callington Furry each week, plus a selection of furry dances from other parts of Cornwall, circular, partner, serpents & sets, plus one or two step dances for those up for some fancy footwork.
All the dances will be taught from scratch and are suitable & adaptable for all ages & abilities.
Rosie Fierek of the infamous Rubber Band will lead the musicians in a specially selected set of Cornish tunes, including Callington Furry.
Doors at 7pm for a 7:30pm start.
